Is It Too Much? 1

I thought I had narrowed down my choice for wedding ring, but I just tried it on with my engagement ring and enhancer, and…. Is it too much?? And if so, any other suggestions for bands that would look good with my engagement ring? TIA!!

I disagree. That ring with enhancer are AMAZING together. The band makes it too cluttered, IMO.

I agree with Pirate & 60s Bride. While all the pieces are beautiful, I feel like the band doesn't really go with the engagement ring and enhancer.

I think I am feeling the same about it. Love the baguette band, but I’m feeling like it’s overkill. Do you think it would look better if it was half the width? Or should I just find a very minimalist band?

I feel like something minimal and low key would look best, like something that matches the band on your engagement ring. Just because the design of enhancer and center stone are so ornate (and gorgeous). Anything else will just detract.

I also agree with this! I think a much thinner band would suit the engagement ring and enhancer! I posted some suggestions in Cece's previous thread, but I found a few more!

I'd pick up on either the baguettes or the pears (?) in whatever pattern I picked - like this

Is It Too Much? 3 this one is moissanite but would be gorgeous in diamond too

I would think no band or if you really want one a thin band only, that matches the band on your engagement ring.

Thank you! I agree that a thinner band is probably going to suit my e-ring better. I never could have anticipated picking a wedding band would be this difficult! I’ve been eating, breathing, sleeping wedding bands for months now…. think I may need to step away from the search for awhile and come back fresh in a month or two. 🤦🏼‍♀️

I definitely want a wedding band. I will not be wearing the enhancer on a daily basis by any means. I would probably only wear it occasionally when we go out in the evenings. I will only be wearing my engagement ring and wedding band consistently. So my main priority is finding a wedding band that I love with my e-ring and also love alone (for days I don’t want to wear the e-ring). And bonus points if it looks good with the enhancer. And for some reason it seems impossible to find one that does all 3 things LOL

First impression was yes it’s too much, for my taste. But It is by no means ugly just maybe not the same style. And then I read all the comments and you said all 3 wouldn’t be for daily wear. So, I went back and looked at the picture again. I totally think you could wear that band with your e-ring daily. They still don’t necessarily match, but I think they look nice. (And I really like that band!)
At the end of the day it’s what you like and are comfortable with. You’re the one that will be wearing them.

I totally hear you. I thought it would be easy but it was actually super hard - I originally wanted a plain band in rose gold to match my engagement ring, but when I actually tried them, it ended up looking like a piece of copper pipe and I didn't like it at all!

I ended up having something custom made, and I'm so pleased I did.

Oh! I see! ( I love your enhancer so much I’d wear it everyday!!! 😻). In that case, I’d still opt for a simple band but it could have some sparkle…

Aw thank you, I love it too 💕 Unfortunately, it doesn’t lend itself to every day wear, otherwise I would probably wear it every day! I think you’re right though- a thinner band is going to be the way to go. I think my problem is I keep looking for something interesting and unique, but all the thin bands sort of look generic and all the same. I’m sure the perfect one will pop up eventually though!

I really like the way it looks! In my opinion, there is no need to add or remove anything
