Is it really that serious?

As a guest, I have never noticed (or cared) what the bridesmaids did with their fingernails, and in photos, I've never noticed what color the bridesmaids fingernails were. I don't think it'd be a big deal to have them different. I would let them do what they want with their nails.

I would not worry about the bridesmaids manicure. In the overall look of your their nail polish choice will not be something seen. Let it go and only worry about your nails

Will you be paying for your bridesmaids to get their nails done? If so, then I don't think it's unreasonable at all to request a certain color. I personally am as well, but I'm also paying for all of my girls' manicures and pedicures.

If you're not paying, then I don't think you're in the right to request certain colors and I'd let this one go.

I've never heard of a bride saying which nail color to get, I wouldn't stress or worry about that - let her wear white polish.

No, bridesmaid nail color is definitely not that serious. I agree with everyone else that no one will notice and this detail is not worth worrying about. Pick your battles!

Definitely let it go. Micromanaging nail color is a waste of time, energy and stress. Literally no one looks at bridesmaids nails.

I am a stickler for details so i've been thinking about this for over a month but thank you all for reminding I have my own fingers and tos to worry about lol

As long as it’s not bright neon I would let her choose. White or lighter colors aren’t going to stand out and no one will notice.
Bright/neon could be distracting depending on the situation.

Not only will guests not notice your bridesmaids’ nails, they won’t notice yours either. Let it go and enjoy what really matters 🙂

Nails will not stick out in the slightest. I actually had intricate designs and different colored nails for one friend’s wedding (as her bridesmaid) a few years ago because it was playoff hockey season and my team was playing. I spent a solid amount of money on them and wasn’t going to remove them until the round was over. Looking at her pictures, you don’t even see my nails in any of them. Most of the time, they’re hidden by the bouquet. Let your maids choose what they want, especially if they’re paying for their nails.

It is your wedding, she can wear a nail color of your choosing for one day. If she hates the color so much, she can use nail polish remover the moment she gets home. I'd tell her to get over it.

No one will really even notice the bridesmaids nails!!! I was just in a wedding last weekend and we all showed each other our nails, but no one could even tell. I say let her do it!! that's super neutral and classy.

I agree that I never notice bridesmaid nails in pictures - the only way I think they'd really stand out is if they were black or something, and even then with a moody fall/winter color palette I don't even know if that would matter! If you're not paying for nails, you can't really tell them what to get and what she's asking for are pretty conservative neutral options anyway. Let this one go so that you have the energy for other, more consequential things.

The bridesmaid is asking - it may just be out of curiosity and might not matter to her all that much. If she normally does white or pink, natural pink should be within the range of what is considered acceptable to her.

I would probably say you prefer if she does a natural pink, but you aren't opposed to a white french if that is what she really wants. It will not stick out that much, and its not worth stressing over. It's not like she wants highlighter green nails for your wedding.

They will be holding bouquets in most of the photos-you likely won't see their nails in pictures.
