Is it possible to get an illusion back altered?

Sam, on June 23, 2017 at 7:36 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 6

Is it possible to get this back closed in? Maybe solid white or matching lace? This is my dream dress but I just don't like the back!

Goto a bridal shop that sells this dress and ask their seamstress. That's your best bet.

In my opinion, if you don't like the back, you don't like the dress. Keep shopping.

I agree with Chelsea-- BUT! On SYTTD, they add liners all the time to close in mesh panels. I don't see why this is any different. A professional seamstress should totally have this in her bag of tricks.

There are tons of dresses that are ridiculously similar to the front of this one I'd move on and find a new one

I agree you can probably find something else perfect - but I do have an illusion back that was totally open mesh and my seamstress will be adding a few lace panels. Not filling in totally, just a little more coverage - so at least in my dress' case it can be done
