Is it possible to alter a train to be longer?

I've never heard of doing this and I'm not sure how easy it would be to achieve. I would talk with the seamstress to see if this is possible.

I know detachable trains are an option, though I'm not sure if adding on to the existing train is possible, it likely depends on the dress. Definitely check with a seamstress, they would know best on how to do this.

Do you love it other than the train? You could get a cathedral length veil for that impact during the ceremony

View Quoted Comment I like it a lot other than the train- I think my hesitation is partly because I never had an “it’s the one” moment and felt rushed to buy a sample dress because I was afraid I wouldn’t find anything I liked as much or if I did it would be way more expensive (store was going out of business so I couldn’t wait to buy it- it would’ve been gone by the next day)

I didn't have a big "it's the dress moment" - even though I'm obsessed with my dress - so don't put too much pressure on a big "moment"! You can also always amp up your look with accessories and a dramatic veil!
