Is it ok to combine processional and bridal entrance songs?

MrsR314, on September 1, 2017 at 4:12 PM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 43

Hello again!

I have one song in mind for processional and I think I wanna just play it out in entirety to use it for my entrance as well. is there like a rule saying the bridal entrance song and processional have to be different?

any input helps!

Thanks!

I don't think so but I think it helps with transition. Do what your heart desires

There is no set rule. Do what you want to do.

I only used one song for all of the entrances. It was fine.

I used one song, it was the perfect length and made timing a little less confusing for us.

We have a very short aisle.... Getting married on the patio of a vineyard.

We were really struggling to find another song that could be for processional, bride and recessional.

Eventually we landed on doing 3 separate songs but it was a difficult decision.

I am struggling with this as well. I have a small bridal party (3 ppl including myself). The song I want to use is 2 minutes long, a bit too long for me to walk down to myself.

That's what I'm doing as well. I only have 1 MOH and 2 bridesmaids so I'm just going to go with the one song.

I have been thinking of doing this too. I only have 2 ladies in the bridal party so it might be strange to switch songs after they walk up the aisle.

We're just using one. The cut should be about 1.5 minutes which should be perfect.
