Is it ok for your fiance to see your trial hair?

Absolutely. I had a hair trial and I timed it so they coincide it with his other formal event we had to go to so he totally saw it.

I’ve never really thought of this before. I guess that really depends on whether you want your look to be a complete surprise the day of, or if you are OK with him seeing it prior

Yes that's fine and very normal. Most people don't follow wedding superstitions anymore.

My FH saw me right after hair and make up trials. I understand wanting the whole surprise but I personally think most men will not remember how your hair and make up looked specifically just that you look extra pretty lol

Funny how one never really thinks about it until the day is approaching. Shelley here mentioned that most men probably won't even remember and I think my fiance will fall under this

My husband saw a pic of my trial but honestly I looked so different on my wedding day and there was a gap between my trial and wedding so he wouldn’t have remembered anyway.

View Quoted Comment Yeah I wanted to make the most of my hair trial and we happen to have this formal event we had to go to that was the perfect time for me to get the hair trial. If you have any pre-wedding event like if you have a bridal shower then it wouldn’t hurt to do a hair trial for that day or some other event

View Quoted Comment I was happy with my trial in general but we made some adjustments. First of all it helped that I had 8 more months to let my hair grow out so I could get more side sweep in the front and length in the back. It also helped to be wearing my wedding dress since I looked a little crazy that done up in jeans and a t shirt lol. She got a better fit for my fake eyelashes, did more blush, and I picked a different shade of red lipstick. I’m generally self conscious but I was very happy with my look and how my pictures turned out. Your trial may look a little intense up close but you’re going to be taking so many pics from different angles and distances that it’ll look good.

My husband saw mine, I wanted his opinion on it actually hahaha. He saw my makeup trial too (I did my own makeup, but I did a trial on myself lol). I didn’t do both at the same time though, so he didn’t see the look all put together or anything. I feel like him seeing the hair done individually didn’t detract from it at the wedding or anything.

I went to my husband's then Fiance house right after my hair trial ..... so its totally okay for him to see it ...... its not like u r all done up for the wedding day yet ...... have fun and hope u like how they do it

That is great to know! And you can make any tweaks after the fact. I am actually only getting a hair trial as I cannot do anything beyond a wave and blowout to my hair. I plan on doing my own makeup as every day is somewhat of a fashion show for me with makeup but I can't do a thing with my hair on my own
