Is a cathedral veil necessary with a cathedral train

You can wear whatever length you want.

You don't have to wear a cathedral veil - any length veil is fine! And it's also totally okay to skip the veil altogether and wear only a headpiece

I think when it comes to your accessories it's really based on what you like on yourself. I didn't wear a veil because I tried bird cages and veils and i just didn't like the look on me. I opted for a headband. I'd say out different accessories to see what you like best on you. Also remember that you can change it out. You can wear a veil for the ceremony and something else like a headband for the reception, etc
