Chelsea, on August 21, 2020 at 12:00 PM Posted in Planning 0 5

They all have offered to help and ive just been so busy with work. I havent been dealing with wedding planning much. I have a lot DYI projects but havent had time to buy the crafts.... But what else can I have them help me with?

I have 60 mason jars that need painted but I have no idea what way to do them as I wanna do rose gold mercury but also navy?

I am doing a tea party for my bridal shower and have been asked how many more tea cups/pots i need and no idea how many I have in boxes in my basement..

Too much to do..?

Im being pulled in a millons ways lol I have 3 grandmas trying to help and my future mother in law keeps buying random wedding stuff on after market fb. LOL like what am i going to do with all this stuff...

Loving the help but I have no direction or organization

Once you decide what color to paint your mason jars you can have them paint them with you. I’ve seen a lot of people do crafting days where their bridesmaids or whoever helps them put it all together

Have them help with anything you need. Crafts, decorations, invites, etc.

As for the decorations FMIL is purchasing to resell, that's her worry, not yours. Make a list of what you need to do and a list for the moms/grandmas. Set your foot down on what is realistic and what isn't.

My FMIL keeps buying random wedding things too! It drives me crazy! Just sit down and make a list of what needs to be done and delegate things to your bridal party. I know that is a lot easier said than done lol but you gotta do it!

That's awesome that they want to be involved and help out!! What I say is for you to decide what you would like to get done first and make a list of things you want to do and need from the craft store. Sometimes, when you are doing things your vision might change which is a good thing then you can tweak it!! Then you can maybe plan a day where you and the BMs and others who would like to help to knock out most of it. I cant wait to see pictures of your awesome creations!!

For the FMIL I would sit down with her and thank her for the support and items but you are just unsure of how to incorporate it and have your vision that you think would be better to do what you feel you want to do. I hope that helps!!

One of the reasons I'm not doing a DIY wedding, too much work, and my fiancee and I were already set to move right after the wedding, it would be way too much work.
