Inviting co-workers after we found out one passed away

Hey all.

We found out late last week one of our shift supervisor's passed away (not COVID-19 related). My fiance and I planned on inviting everyone on our shift to our wedding this week when our invitations arrived. We are going to wait a couple weeks to do this now. However, I don't know if that is too soon. Our wedding is in early August.
Our date was postponed from June. We didn't invite them previously due to work drama that is now resolved.I would love to have everyone there. Should we wait it out more? Is two weeks enough?

    If it will make your wedding day better Smiley smile invite them it doesn't hurt as long as it's within your wedding budget also. Honestly with covid-19 its wonderful to see weddings and life events still taking place (within reason). Share the love and it's your wedding do whatever will make your heart happy ♥️

    It's within our budget. I just want to respect this time of mourning. Heck, I need some time to work through the pain of the loss. He was well respected and a kind person. I just don't want to be seen as THAT bride.

    I would give them some time and hand out the invitations mid or late June. On average, you send out invites 6-8 weeks before the wedding, so you still have plenty of time.

    I would say if you feel comfortable there why not invite them. However ill give those invitation 6 to 8 weeks in advance
