Invites for Bridal Party?

Cher Horowitz, on August 10, 2019 at 3:12 PM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 36

This might be a dumb question, but do I give wedding invitations to bridal party members?

I would, and did! They are still a guest, technically speaking. Plus, if they have other members in their family or a plus one, the invite usually says so. As well as the additional info cards you may or may not include! I would say Yes, they get invitations as well.

Yes, you should send them an invite too! I’m sending everyone in our bridal party as well. I’ve gotten one every time I’ve been in a wedding.

I did Lol. They stuffed their envelopes as we put them together yesterday. One of my bridesmaids stuffed her own and was like oops It got bent. Oh well I’ll be there anyways haha

If you are inviting them, then yes lol. Anyone you’d like to come to your wedding should receive an invitation. We sent them to our bridal party and our parents. Even though we obviously knew they were coming.

I did. But I also need them to RSVP w/ their food option. A few texted me their option (despite having a stamped RSVP envelope & access to do it online), but it works for me - anything that prevents me contacting them on Sept 25th works lol.

Yes. Anyone that you want to attend should receive an invitation. It will also make it easier for you when counting RSVPs.

Yes! And especially because most of their significant offers aren’t also in the wedding and you’re going to need to know what meal they are choosing if it’s not a buffet and if they’re even planning on bringing a date. My fiancé was the best man and stood up in two weddings while we were dating, it was obvious he was bringing me but he still had to choose our meals and give me the chance to rsvp yes or no.
