Invited guest verse turn out

Wondering what your invited amount of guests were verse number who rsvp to show up? We have been told it's usually around 60% which for us would be able 150 out of 250. But we already have 70+ people who said they are coming and 180 that still need to respond?!? Just curious others experiences...

I had a DW and still had an 85% acceptance rate...

Hope you can move that budget around...

Please do not budget for 60%, that's a terrible idea. Also, "versus" is the word you're looking for, not "verse".

I want to know the person who told you there is a 60% decline rate. We invited 110 people - 106 showed up and I was married on Thursday. Good luck !

I have always been told to expect between 80-90% of attendance.

Best part of planning for all the guests, is if some decline, you can save the money or upgrade your packages!

We had about 70% come, and it was an out of town wedding for almost everyone.

As long as you can afford the 250 and your vendors can handle it, I wouldn't worry about it. It's pretty early still for RSVPs for your wedding, and I'm guessing you get a higher percentage of "yes" in the beginning.

WE had about a 90% acceptance rate, but had about 60% show up, due to distance, timing, illness, etc. Ours was a DW so it was a drive for everyone but my daughter, who lives in that area.

We have planned for all our invitees to show, even though we are having a DW and know some won't be able to make it. Once all is said and done the budget can be adjusted.

We had a DW. Invited ~88, expected 75 or less (planned on paying for all invited). 51 came.

We had about 60%. It's good that you have the extra space and budget in case more show up. Have you worked with your caterer on when they need final numbers? I put an "rsvp by" date on my cards that were about two weeks prior to needing final numbers so I could call guests that didn't rsvp. I had quite a few say they were coming but hadn't sent in rsvp's.

We invited 67 people and 52 (including us) said yes they were coming but we only had 46 people show.
