I don't think she will make a scene at the wedding if she's invited but she is someone who I really just do not like. Her husband is my father's brother and he is the kindest man you'll ever meet. My aunt has refused to send me any form of birthday or Christmas or graduation card after elementary school (of which my uncle later sneaks me one just from him), but I know she'll expect an invite and will start some family drama.

I wish I could invite only my uncle and cousins but he can't keep track of all the kids alone and we are having kids at our wedding so it would be wrong to ask for just him to attend. What do you guys think? Is it okay of me to only invite my uncle? Should I invite the aunt anyways? Smiley cry

Unfortunately, as has been posted in many other threads, they're a social unit so if you invite one you must invite the other. You could easily say that their children (under the age of 18) are welcome to attend if you're OK with that. I invited a couple to my wedding who have 4 children, but 2 of them are grown and in college so I invited just them and their two younger babies who are still in elementary school. If that helps. I'm sorry she's such a dope and your uncle is so great. It always sucks when that happens. Smiley heart
