Invite bm Mothers to Wedding Shower

My mother is paying for the venue, me the bride invites and postage, my MIL dessert and my BM centerpieces and favors. Should I feel obligated to invite my bridesmaids mothers? I used to be closer to them when I was younger but as I have grown up I’m not as close

    Only people invited to the wedding should get invitations to any pre-wedding parties. Otherwise, it can be seen as gift-grabby and rude.

    Yep this! Some of my bridesmaids’ mothers were invited to the shower but only because I’m close with them and they were also invited to the wedding

    Let your bridesmaids decide. I know my mother wouldn’t want to go to a shower if she didn’t have to (as in wasn’t invited to the wedding). But some people love showers and may want to go regardless. But it’s really not necessary to invite them.
