Invitations/save the Dates

Okay so I’m getting married August 2021 in New Orleans in a small ceremony and we’re having an engagement party this September. Should I send save the dates/registry info, engagement party invitations, and (very few) wedding ceremony invitations all separately? And when should I get them sent out? Help!

Engagement party invitations - 4 weeks in advance
Save the dates - 6-8 months in advance
Invitations - 6-8 weeks in advance
Registry information doesn't belong on any of these items.

Are you having a wedding reception? You only mention a ceremony. I wouldn't invite anyone to the engagement party who isn't invited to the main event. And I agree with Caytlyn that registry info doesn't get sent out. You can just tell anyone who asks where you are registered (if they ask).

No, after the ceremony we’re going to a restaurant on Bourbon St and bar hopping. The engagement party is for the people who can’t afford to come to New Orleans (we’re in Missouri). We’re only paying for a ceremony for a maximum of 25 people. Oh, every save the date/wedding invitation I’ve ever gotten had registry info included.

OK, gotcha. Well, if you aren't hosting anyone for anything, I definitely wouldn't be sending out your registry info. People will know who to ask if they want it.

Your STD's should be sent out 10-12 months out. Your invitations should be sent out 6-8 weeks prior and can include a details card with all the info or to direct people to your wedding website, or both. I wouldn't put any of that information on your actual invitations. Any invitations for parties or showers should all be sent separately and usually 4-6 weeks before each event.
