Invitations

Gabrielle, on May 10, 2019 at 8:26 AM Posted in Community Conversations 0 27

I am looking for the best online site for invitations! I am not getting anything super fancy, but I want them to be nice.

Does anyone have experience buying from Vistaprint or any places like that? Were there Black Friday specials that you took advantage of?? (I'm planning to ordering them then since my wedding is not until June 2020)

Some of my friends have ordered from vista print and they were very nice! I ordered mine from Ann’s bridal bargains. They were the cheapest I could find and I thought they were just as nice as most other wedding invitations I’ve gotten

I bought mine on Vistaprint with a 50% off coupon so it was worth the savings. The items I got were all nice quality. I didn't want to spend a ton either because it's just paper that will be thrown away. Smiley smile

We got ours from Vistaprint and were very happy with the quality. They run 50% off sales often and their customer service is top notch!

I ordered mine from Zazzle and they have random promotions. like between 15% - 50% off just because. So when I ordered mine I would check every day and see when they had the best sales Smiley smile

It was super easy to navigate and they had some great selections!

Shutterfly is great, they have 50% off sales pretty regularly! I was going to wait for Black Friday last year but they had a 50% off sale for Labor Day I think, and I had already picked and designed our invitations so I just ordered then Smiley smile

We picked up our invites through Zazzle.com

Honestly, in my personal experience, I have never freaked out in joy or despair over the atheistic of someone's wedding invitation that I have ever received. Most often I threw away the invite and just kept the magnetic save the date on my fridge as a reminder. (yeah we obviously pickled up the magnet STDs)

So, we got invitations that were fun and affordable and had them point everyone to our wedding website that is loaded with details, accommodation suggestions, things to do in the area. etc...

The money that we saved not getting the foil, 8 different index cards and the 99 million other add ons went towards other fun things like paying for our open bar.

    *choices* lol!

I second Ann's Bridal Bargain! I compared all the major sites people post about, and they were the cheapest.

Another for Ann’s Bridal Bargains, mine came from there and I was looking for simple but nice and they couldn’t have come out any better and the price was unbeatable.

All of the other suggestions are great, I would also check out Basic Invite and Minted.

We went with Zazzle and have been very happy with the options and quality. So far everything I've ordered was during one of their 50% off sales. They come around very often.

This is good to know! I'm using both WW and The Knot to plan, and my website is through The Knot. They have matching invitations on Shutterfly. I was looking at prices for giggles and HOLY COW. I was not expecting them to be that expensive.

Chiming in as another vote for Ann's Bridal Bargains! Prices are unbeatable, quality is amazing, speed of shipment is crazy fast, and the designs are so easy to customize.

I love Vistaprint! That's where I got my invites from and I am in love! I would 100% recommend Vistaprint! They usually always have some sort of sale and coupons can be found online. I definitely think Black Friday sales would be your best bet with the wedding in June!

Ooooo good to know! I agree, most invitations are underwhelming and not anything I have ever kept from someone else’s wedding.

Thanks!! I was trying to think of Shutterfly but kept drawing a blank, hence why I put “or other places like that”. Hahaha

Hahaha yes, Shutterfly is great to work with too. I made a mistake on my invitations and I didn't catch it until a couple months after I ordered them. It was a really stupid, minor mistake that probably no one would've noticed but me being a perfectionist, it was driving ME insane, to the point of considering if we should spend another $200 to reorder. I reached out to their customer service just to see if they'd give me a little discount possibly, and they said no problem and shipped an ENTIRE NEW BATCH of corrected invitations, for free! I had really great experiences with them in the past too... I had ordered a photo book for my and FH's anniversary like 3 years ago, and it must've gotten lost in the mail (post office's fault, not Shutterfly's) and when I called them to tell them the package never arrived and our anniversary was next week, they sent a new one OVERNIGHTED for no charge, because they wanted to make sure it arrived on time for us Smiley smile

Seriously I cannot recommend them enough lol, not only do they have great products but it's very stress-free to order from them because they are sooo accommodating and generous.
