Your over because you sent too many invitations or over before the invitations go out?

If before they go out, reduce your count now.

You believe? Do you have a guest list to know for sure? Have you already received all your RSVPs? There's always about a 10% decline.

If you already sent out invitations, wait and see how many people respond. You might have enough people decline that you don't have to uninvite anyone. Otherwise, if you need to uninvite people due to COVID, you could do that after you get the RSVPs back and you figure out how many people you need to uninvite.

Your options at this point are to uninvite people or find a venue that fits your entire guest list. I wouldn't blame covid since you will still have 200 guests and those that are being uninvited clearly aren't due to the pandemic.

Sadly, you will need to univite some, but as Caytlyn noted, I wouldn't because of Covid. Or find another venue. Can your venue accommodate your new count?

Then you will need to find a larger venue to accommodate everyone.

What is the count for your venue? Is 200 the max for the venue?
And you didn’t send invitations to your wedding party?

It's rude to uninvite so you may have to find a larger venue.

Have all rsvp’s been sent back in and/or accounted for? When is the date you’ve requested them be sent back?
