Ladies what are your thoughts- I am thinking of skipping the traditional invites and sending out e-invites. Has anyone done this? Were there any obstacles? Any suggested websites? TIA 💋

They’re cute, affordable and you can order smaller quantities. Plus coupon codes!

So we opted for online save the dates, paper invitations, and electronic RSVPs on our wedding website. We just used WW here for the website and it was easy to have guests RSVP on the website. We ran several trial runs after loading our guest list into our planner and it worked seamlessly.

I feel like a paper invitation is still necessary in a way for a keepsake. It’s a physical reminder to hang on your fridge, sure. But I can frame one for myself, our parents/grandparents would want one I’m sure, and I feel like it’s just the better option, at least in our case.

We sent traditional invitations, because we had a semi-formal wedding. However, we did online RSVP's. This was easier for us to track our responses, it reminded our guests that the RSVP deadline was approaching, and it also saved us money on stationary and postage.

Have you thought about the traditional mailed invite followed by the "eRSVP"? - I think that's the route we're going to go with.

I did use eVites for a 35 Year Retirement party, semi-formal, overall it worked well and would do it again. I did consider this option for our wedding as we're an older couple and this isn't our first rodeo.

Yes I have thought about that. My biggest concern is it’s already April and my wedding is in early October so I’m worried about getting them mailed out in enough time. Mail by me has already decreased to every other day and there is a possibility of it going down to 1-2 x a week. Also, if I end up having to move my date bc of the virus then I would have to pay for a whole new round of invites again and that seems like a waste of $$. I’m still torn.
