Invitations

Do you have your last names somewhere on the invitations? My concern with only putting first names is that people may get the invitation in the mail but not realize who it's for. We just have our first & middle names on ours because our parents' names are above (with our last names).

I used first names but also put my parents full names as in "mr. And mrs. Request your presence.."

If your parents' full names are on it I think you'll be just fine.

You’ll be fine with the first names only. Contrary to what the first poster mentioned above, it would be odd if an invited guest doesn’t know who you and your fiancé are by first names anyway. If they don’t, then they shouldn’t be invited LOL! Personally, I don’t think it’s a big deal. As long as it has your names and the wedding information, it will be fine and serve the purpose.

I used first names only. I think that today's brides are less likely to be as formal as in the past and do what they feel is most appropriate

I think it’s fine, if people really don’t know who you are based on your first names (especially when it’s BOTH of your first names together) they have no business coming to your wedding lol. Also your name isn’t too common as is, it’s not like your names are “Mike and Sara” or something, where people could easily know multiple couples with those names

We just have our first names. We also omitted the parent info because we are older. LOL and paying for it ourselves...

Wedding day twin!! it's getting close!!

I always hated my middle name. No one knows it. When i hear people that i grew up with, call me by my middle name, i look around to see if anyone heard it. That's how bad i don't want people knowing it. My fh loves his middle names...even though he doesn't use it lol. But It looked weird me putting both his names and only my first. The invitations did come out really nice.

I think you'll be totally fine with your first names and your guests should definitely know who you are by just your first name. However, my fiance and I used both our first and last names.

We're going to just put our first names but our parents' full names. I know I'm the only person anybody knows who has my first name, so it should be fine, LOL
