Wanting to send out my invitations around July 31-August 3, 2020 & need rsvp due by August 28 because my venue needs final count by September 9, wedding date is 10/10/2020. Does the timeline look ok or is that too early?

    I would send the invites a couple weeks earlier. Then they have more time to consider everything, given the current situations. Also, having them RSVP on the 28th gives you about a week and a half to call everyone who didn't respond. If that's enough time for you, then that sounds good! If you want longer, I'd move the RSVP date up, and then definitely mail the invites earlier.

    Ideally you want to give 7-8 weeks notice. Longer if you have international travelers. Also, don't forget, currently some states are having slower mail service than others. I do agree with with Elizabeth, you may want to move up your RSVP date to give you time to reach out to those that haven't RSVP'd timely.

    Invites are sent out 6-8 weeks before the wedding day. You need time to tally your replies and track down anyone who didn't reply so you can get the headcount to the caterer.

    Tip for quicker delivery is the 10 digit zip code (****). But send early as PP advised.

    Yes, you need to send earlier if your RSVP date is in August. Maybe just a few weeks, but still.
