Invitations

Hi everyone,
With all the wedding date changes, what do you thing should be done about sending out invitations? We just spent about 300$ on sending invitations and had to reschedule. Part of me wants to send out change of date cards but I also don’t want to end up changing the date again and have to keep spending money on paper and postage. What are you guys doing?

We sent out our invitations and told everyone we would let them know on our wedding website if plans change. If we have to reschedule, we won't be sending another invitation. We'll just put it on our website and send a text invitation or FB event for the new date.

If you've already sent invitations, you should send change the date cards because you don't want people to show up to a wedding that isn't happening. If you sent save the dates, you should send change the date cards because you don't want people to be really offended that you didn't invite them when you said you were going to.
BUT, you don't have to send everything else out again if you don't want to. When you send out the change the dates, you can tell people to check your website for updates, and direct them to send you their email address (via the website or an RSVP style card that they send back to you). Then you can do Paperless Post or something for any future invitations/updates.

It's totally your call! It sounds like a "Change the Date" evite or email might work best for you right now so you can stay flexible and avoid additional costs!
