Hey everyone so I’m having trouble deciding on invitations and what to include in them I like the tri fold cards but my maid of honor is liking the single flat card... what all did you include for information regarding the wedding I see things about theme ? And registry but should you put the places you registered or direct them to my website ?? Every option would be helpful thanks in advance! Smiley smile

If you and your FS like the trifold, go with them! Your MOH can choose the invitations for her own wedding. I've never seen a theme mentioned on an invitation. Registry information also shouldn't be listed on the invite, just on your wedding website.

I would direct ppl to a website and then there on the website have a registry but don’t put it directly on the invite

We did an invite with just the wedding information & then a details card that included information about hotel accommodations & our website for RSVPs and Registry.

In my opinion, it’s not worth the money for RSVP cards & stamps. If you read the tons of threads on here, people are terrible about RSVPing - so, why spend the money for people to not even send them back?
Your invites should reflect the formality of your wedding & if you’re like me - it should match your “theme” (colors, season, etc).
    Just my opinion, though.Invitations 1

Go with what you like. She can decide what kind of invitation she’ll have at her wedding. My theme is great Gatsby .... I had the colors match my wedding colors ... I didn’t make a website and I just made my registry but I feel like most people will just give cash gifts as is what is usual in my culture/area. You could include that kind of information in an insert.

We have a two fold because our wedding website had all the details.
So our STD told them to go to wedding website and we are saying that in text messages and phone calls.

This is the invitation I made that I like hoping it doesn’t have to many pictures but the blue color is close to the dusty blue color my bridesmaids dresses are Invitations 3

Same we are politely asking for gift cards. It was worded nicely on our wedding website.

If you like tri fold, then do them. We did tri fold and I think it turned out nice. We included hotel info, rsvp card and envelope, and a small note card notifying people about the short walk thru the Botanic Gardens they’ll need to do. All other info has been posted on our wedding website and on our FB STD page.
