Invitations: photos or no photos?

I think save the dates look cute with photos, but I'm not a fan of invitations with photos personally. Invitations look more formal to me without them, but again that's just my opinion. If you like the look with photos, go for it!

I would only do photos on the invitation if you’re having a very casual wedding.

Personally, I am not a fan of receiving an invitation with the couples picture. Especially once I receive a save the date with their picture.

Our save the dates had our engagement photos and were quite casual. Our invitations were much fancier, navy and silver coordinating with our wedding, no pictures.

I feel like invites with photos give a more casual vibe to your wedding. I prefer regular decorative invites. If you want to incorporate photos, maybe after the wedding you can send thank you cards with photos on them.

In the end its up to you, but i personally don't like pictures on invitations. My fh wanted to do this but i told him not everyone is going to keep our invite. I can't picture our pictures being thrown somewhere. I know, i'm paranoid that way lol.
