Invitations - Minted or Zazzle?

Stephanie, on November 14, 2019 at 8:18 PM Posted in Planning 1 14
Minted.com or zazzle for invitations? What has everyone else's experience been? Zazzle seems cheaper but minted will address your envelopes if you send them your guest list. If you didn't have them addressed, how did you address your own envelopes? Did you handwrite them or use address labels? Help!!

I'm going with Zazzle and we'll be getting colored envelopes with white ink print from a seller on Etsy. If I remember correctly, the seller also offers delivering them (since they will have your guest list) but don't quote me on that. I've talked to so many people I might be confused lol

I used minted for our save the dates. They looked great and I loved that they addressed everything. We are getting our invites through them too and won’t have to input any of the guest list this time 🙌🏼

Daughter used Zazzle and was extremely happy with them. She ended up with a variety of different stationery products that all coordinated beautifully, and never bought anything without a 50-60% off coupon. She hand addressed them; it took an evening for about 80 envelopes. They looked great, and just get thrown away. My niece printed her guests' addresses on clear address label stickers and put them on the envelopes; that worked fine too!

I'm having this exact same dilemma! I think I am going to go with Minted but the price difference is giving me pause. With Zazzle, the best option seems to be doing clear address labels and return address labels but I am worried about it.

I also like the design I chose on Minted better so it does also depend on the style you are going for!

I just ordered free samples from minted and zazzle actually a week ago and I really did like minted better for the relative same price point. I just found them to be better quality and a lot of font choices and I like the foil writing as well

Everything I’ve ever ordered from Minted turned out amazing. Even super custom items. And yes, the fact that they address everything for you is a great perk!

We used Minted! Download the Honey google chrome extension. It gave us codes for over $50 off our save the dates and our wedding invitations!

We used zazzle and loved them! Zazzle is way more flexible with customizing the invitiez, rsvps, etc. It’s a little more work for you since you have to edit the design your self and now one on the zazzle side will “proof” them for you, but ours came looking great. We looked at Minted and found them much more difficult to make changes with (such as an ugly RSVP card that was paired with the invite we like). For the labels, we bought a whole bunch of the print-yourself address labels by Avery and have used their template. It’s a little more work, but it really isn’t that bad!

We are thinking of going with Minted. I’ve gotten 2 sample kits from them, the first one was just a random sample kit, and the second was all invitations in styles we liked. We still have a bit of time to go before needing them but at least I had something to go off of to know if we were going to like it or not 😊

If you have a large invite list, I would use Minted for sure! It was wonderful to have them already addressed! It saved me soooooo much time!

I love my zazzle invitation suite. For invitations, reception cards, accommodation cards, rsvp cards, and belly bands, it was the same price for ONLY invitations from minted. They come with white envelopes. I bought also bought return address stickers from zazzle and plan on buying the guest addresses stickers from there as well. A lot of people told me people end up throwing away the envelope, so I’m trying not to care so much about that.

We went with Shutterfly, not only due to pricing and they will address the envelopes for you, but my credit card points can go to Shutterfly giftcards, making the price even lower.
