Invitations from Vistaprint

Candace, on September 12, 2019 at 9:12 AM Posted in Planning 0 9
Just wanted to share as kind of a warning, what I wish I had done. We ordered our invitations from Vistaprint and the front and back were to be colored and printed on.
They were packaged in sets of 20 which I opened as I went (stuffing them to mail). I looked at each one as we stuffed, but never really put them in one pile to compare them. Therefore I didn’t notice some of them were different colors until I have now started receiving the RSVP cards back and putting them in one pile. Also looked closer at the backs and some of the ends have a white strip Smiley sad Really sad, too late to fix as they’ve been mailed.

Just a heads up for those of you ordering. Make sure to open them all up to compare and inspect them before stuffing!

I’m so sorry that this happened to you! Please call vistaprint. They do not advertise it well but have a 100% satisfaction guarantee. I have received a refund on something I was not happy with before. Since you have picture proof you should not have a hard time at all getting a refund 😀

Definitely agree with this - I got postcard save the dates from Vistaprint that looked gorgeous, but the glossy fronts all smeared at least a little when they went through the mail. I posted a review with a photo and they gave me account credit for them, so I'm sure they'd refund you if you contact them directly.

I know this is upsetting to you, but since no one else is seeing them lined up together, the colors will not seem off to any of your recipients. I also don’t think I would have noticed the white line if you didn’t point it out. I would still contact Vistaprint and let them know what happened.

Thanks so much. was thinking of using them possibly for my inside and making my own cutout outer invitation and ribbon ties to cut down on costs so thanks so much for the heads up!

I sent them the photos as well so we will see what they say. It’s not the end of the world as I’m sure people didn’t notice, but it’s just a bummer after I worked hard to put them all together

Certainly call Vistaprint, their customer service is great. I wasn't too thrilled with the backs of mine, but I knew it was a risk printing an all black invitation. Sometimes the saturation of color just isn't there.
