Invitations- diy Questions

Mandi, on May 17, 2019 at 1:25 PM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 5
So I'm planning on designing and printing my own Save the Dates. I'm planning on doing this on the basic photo paper style paper. It works on what I'm planning to do.

But my invitations I want double sided on the nice thick cardstock style paper.

I've tried designing it on Zazzle, but it's not working well. Any other sites you guys know of that might work to design it myself. Or if Staples will print it on the type of paper I want?

I may just design it and send a photo to zazzle and order one to see if it works the way I want it to. But that's an option I want lower on the list.

I am doing mine from a template off of Etsy. You fill it out online and then download the file. I can have mine printed at my moms office because it’s a family company and they don’t mind. I did mine on card-stock. To get them cut I’m going to the fed ex store. If you have one of those near you you can send them an email with your file, bring it in on a flash drive or something like that and they can print it on nice paper.

I printed mine at Fed Ex! They weren't double sided though. I'm sure they can configure them to be though. I also purchased signs from Etsy. They have so many awesome templates. Op, you could find someone to do a custom order for you.

    I created mine on Canva.

I've heard good things about catprint and Vistaprint too.

Unfortunately, I know exactly what I want. And I'm also a graphic designer. I just dont work in paper product printing so figuring out where to get these printed on the exact paper i want is the hardest part. 😆
I cant believe this is my biggest hang up. Lol.

I noticed in one of your comments that your a graphic designer. My friend who is a graphic designer and did our save the dates used moo.com to print ours. It allows you to print double sided and it was amazingly high quality. They usually have coupon codes online as well. I think it came out to about .50c a piece. You can order paper samples as well if you want before you order the actual cards.
