So if the wedding is October 4th, 2020 and I want RSVPs by September 4th.. due to my venue and caterer requirements when should I send out our wedding invitations?? I also was wondering did you guys order your invitations in advance ? And have them for a few months before sending them out? Thanks for any information!
Invites are usually sent out anywhere between 2-3 months. I haven't ordered ours yet. Way too soon but I've heard one bride in particular bought hers a whole year early from when she should send them out because it was a really good deal lol. It just really depends on the person.
Our wedding date is October 10th. We are sending out save the dates in early February and sending out invitations in early July with an RSVP date of September 1st. Our final head count is due 30 days from the wedding date.
We are sending out invitations out this month, so 3 months out. About 75% of our family is out of town so I wanted to give them as much time as possible to get everything taken care of that they need to in order to come. We also sent out our save the dates a year out. We made our invitations so I have those finished in November so we didn't have to worry about it during the holidays.
Getting married on August 1st, requesting guests to RSVP by July 3rd. Sending out invites end of April/beginning of May. Our venue requires a final count 1-2 weeks before the wedding, but I want to know a month in advance because I still need to order escort cards and finalize seating arrangements.
Id say send out invitations Late July. I am also getting married in October, on the 23rd I am having our RSVP date October 1st, we have to give our final count 10 days before the wedding. As for ordering early, I ordered our save the dates in May of 2019 and we just mailed them out. We ordered our actual wedding invitations in November during a Black Friday sale and we already have them and will mail them out early August
I'd send your invitations out in mid-July. And you want to order your invitations early enough that you have time to assemble them and weigh them to see if you need extra postage. Maybe order in early June to be safe!
