Invitation question

I was wondering how you all plan to provide accommodation information and your wedding website link for responses in your invite? Are you including this information the invite itself or are you including it on other docs with your invite?

I had a details card with my invites. The card itself had a little info but mostly directed people to the website.

Yeah...didn’t think about STD. Those have already been sent. Good idea though.

I think that’s what I’m going to do. It won’t match but I think it will be ok.

We put our wedding website on our invite. On our details card we just put reception info. We put accommodations info on our website, but since most of our guest list has lived in the area for at least 4+ years in the last decade, they are familiar with the area. We didn't bother blocking.

This is what we did (we had a ton of out of state guests):

Website - Fully set up 1 year out. We had two complimentary hotel blocks (one nicer & one cheaper).

Save the Dates - We included a small business card sized insert with our main hotel block information & our website.

Invites - We included an insert card with both hotel blocks & our website.

We put hotel info on the back of the invite and at the very bottom of the front of it wrote “details on reverse”. Saved on the cost of another details card and postage since it didn’t add any additional weight!

I didn't put this on the actual invitation. I included an invitation insert in the envelope with the website and other info. I just made it myself on Word and printed it on pretty colored paper on my home printer.

We did not want to pay extra for detail cards, luckily our invites from anns bridal bargains has a backside. We put all hotel accommodations on the backside

I'm either just going to add it to the invite itself at the bottom or put in on the back. We are trying to reduce our costs and environmental impact as much as possible so are just sending a single card and envelope via snail mail. We did our STDs via email and guests will RSVP on our wedding website.
