Invitation Faux Pas

ToBeMrsWatson, on May 14, 2017 at 9:31 PM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 9

So I got my invitations back on Friday after going back and forth for a week with corrections and adjustments with the printer.... I JUST (literally grabbed the enclosure card and did the homer simpson) realized that I forgot to put the hotel reservation date on the enclosure card..... So now my question is how do i fix this faux paus.....

You must reorder. It's kinda nice to know the date.

You don't need to reorder. You can get nice lightweight paper at staples and print out small cards to put in there.

I like HTB's idea - would be way better to do this than reorder and spend all that money. I've seen something similar and didn't bat an eye at it

We didn't include that info on the invite because only a few were staying at the same hotel. We just emailed everyone a reminder a month before with the date.

Get fancy and grab some cardstock. Put the date on and slap one of those sticky squares on it and you have a 3D date!

If I got a printed card that was included in your invite, I wouldn't bat an eyelash. No need to re-order.

Or...if you don't have the room, get fancy again! Poke small holes on the bottom and do a hanging date sign. It's easy to fold up, and it's pretty nifty looking

Ok these are great ideas... I was thinking of just adding another (small) card to the information card.... FH suggested adding a "address label like" and putting it on the back of the card and im against that because i dont think that people will look at that back of the card....
