Invisible ink for RSVPs

Chelsea, on March 22, 2017 at 8:52 PM Posted in Planning 0 14

I want to number my RSVPS with invisible ink in case they get sent back without names. Any suggestions on pens. All the ones I'm finding on Amazon have horrible reviews. Thx!

I just used a regular pencil on the back. Majority won't notice. The few that do know why it's there and don't care

I wrote the return address on the RSVP envelopes. I didn't think about the black light pen and I didn't want to number with a regular pen and have someone say, "hey, why are we RSVP #85?"

FWIW, out of our 85 invitations, not a single one came back without a name.

I was worried about this too! I ended up just filling in the names on the rsvp cards. I did it with fancy cursive handwriting so it fit right in with the rest of the invitation set

@FMHayes People check off the "yes" or "no" on their RSVPs, but then don't fill their names out. Because of this, a lot of people have started to number the back of their RSVPs.

The back of my rsvp was white. I used a white paint pen to write small number on the bottom right back of my Rsvps. No one else would notice but I could see if the light reflected on it. I had about 5 that came back with no names-so it was helpful!

I won't be much help but I found this idea on Pinterest. So many start there.
