I think I've lurked long enough and it's time to come out of the shadows and properly introduce myself. I met my FH on POF back in January 2015. I created a profile on a Saturday afternoon, he messaged me later that day, and that was it. We met five days later and I pretty much knew he was the one. He proposed this past October at West Point, on the football field after half-time, in front of 40,000 people. We are planning a July 2019 wedding.
It's a good thing we're having such a long engagement because it is giving us plenty of time to really think about what we really want before we have to pull the trigger. After visiting a few venues we've found the one that will be perfect for us and I'm excited to put down the deposit and actually book it.
Thanks to all of you on this board, I was able to confidently tell FH that we could go with this particular venue if we went back over our guest list and made some cuts, which we did and which were painless. You guys rock!
