Hi! We are getting married 10/18/25. Our venue is a pavilion with a concrete floor. We also rented a 20x30 tent for additional space. The ground around the pavilion is a mix of grass and gravel. So I am leaning towards putting the dance floor on concrete in pavilion. I don't know that concrete is the best for dancing, and renting a dance floor is expensive! Also there are wooden beams that would make the dance floor tough to map out with pre sized flooring from rental company. My idea is to buy the foam mats and cut a space for the beams out. I am nervous if this material would work well on concrete... any thoughts? My other option is to bite the bullet, rent the dancefloor, and have it in the grassy area.
