What are you doing? Or if you are using rice, share as well. Smiley smile

We're skipping this all together. There isn't much we're allowed to do in our church anyway and its not something I really wanted in the first place.

We are doing bubbles as we walk back down the aisle after the ceremony. I can't wait to see the photos!

We are doing ribbon wands. We have yet to attend a wedding that had these so we are excited to have something a little different.

I was wondering what to do on the exit as well. Bubbles sound nice. I hear the rice hurts when it hits you. :-(

We did ribbon wands. it doubles as a favor! kids loved it. I attached bells to it so it sounded cool when they used them.

A lot of weddings I've been to lately throw chamomile or lavender which is what I would have done but our venue won't allow it.

Skipping it all together. Let me warn about bubbles. If they pop on dark fabric (tuxes, BM dresses, etc) they will stain with the ring.

We have saved the dried rose petals from every rose that FH has ever given me. We were going to have our guests throw them, but it seems to me like our church won't let us throw anything either. I didn't know the ribbon wands were an Irish tradition. I think we'll do that instead.

We are doing flower petals, roses in particular. They looked beautiful in FCIL DW last year.

We aren't sure yet. Be careful about lavender, it gets stuck everywhere and you'll spend time getting it out of your hair! This happened at a wedding I went to and it got stuck to everything!!

I have been making my own confetti which I will be mixing with wild flower seeds. We are getting married on my farm so I am going to love seeing the flowers come up where we said our vows.

Eco-friendly confetti. We are getting married outside on FH ranch so we needed something that was safe for the animals and that we did not have to clean up. I have heard about bubbles causing stains and making things slippery. Real petals were out of budget.
