Inspire me! Or should i say, let me get some ideas!

I really really REALLY need help looking for a nice honeymoon. Where are you guys from and what's your favorite thing about being there? Inspire me, help me get to know some places by telling me some good points about where you're from! Maybe I'll end up visiting there after all.

I'll do the same by saying I'm from Puerto Rico. And my favorite thing about living here is that it's summer every day. From the beautiful north beaches filled with the turistical zone, to the south and west, where you'll see the most beautiful sunsets ever. The MOST enjoyable thing for me here is the mountains (I'm from one of them lol), because you never get tired of going through the curves filled with so many trees and coquies; you never get tired of going inside the mountains on new roads, out of the buzz of cities.

Who's next? 😊

I’m from Colorado, my favorite thing about home is also the mountains. My FH and I love driving through the canyons, hiking, taking the kids on easy trails to see beautiful lakes and meadows, and especially watching the fall foliage changing colors. We love the charm of the mountain towns, and all of them are beautiful. I especially love the sun setting behind the Rockies.
We also enjoy going to baseball games in Denver, concerts, visiting local craft breweries, and attending the many local festivals (FH’s favorite is Oktoberfest in Breckenridge, mine is the Peach Festival in Palisade).

Sounds nice! My future husband and I actually met over beer talk. Taught me all about breweries, different kinds of beers, and it's one of the places he suggested! He's been there once and would definitely like to go again!

Awesome! I’m not a big beer drinker myself, though my FH’s friends constantly bring me something new to try (it was some kind of chocolate peanut butter ipa last time 🤢). If you like the mountains I’m sure you’d enjoy some of our scenic byways too! Happy planning!

We are from Brooklyn NY. Well that's where we live anyway.he's from Western New York, basically Canada, and I grew up in Asia and on the east coast.
We married in his hometown and ventured to Tenerife and Barcelona for our honeymoon and finished up at a family friend's wedding in Siena, Italy.
If you haven't visited Brooklyn, NY, it's so fun but not as relaxing as beaches and sunsets. Lots of adventures and forever eating. Where we live is more neighborhood oriented and allows you to slow down.
Not sure what your limitations are but Rio, Brazil has always ice cold beer and people gather to watch and applaud the sunset.
If you like mountains and hikes I hear the Azores are beautiful, it was on our list but want warm enough when we wanted to go. I've heard nothing but amazing things about Portugal as well, the Agarve, Porto, etc.

We also thought of having a minimoon here on the island, but our families are too pushy, so we actually want to stay away from them for a while.

My brother moved to Conneticut last november with his wife. They got the opportinuty to go to NY Times Square and to visit Brooklyn, and the absolutely loved it so much they make few trips every now and then there. It's in my bucket list; the whole NY area. I've only seen pictures, googles, and it's definitely one of the places I want to go before dying. We checked on Portugal, but the prices of all inclusivew aren't too friendly. We just have a budget of $2,000 and it was a gift from my father in law. Haven't checked on Rio though, it would bw amazing. Thank you so much!!! 😀

I live in the Willamette Valley in Oregon. It is NOT tropical. What I love is the wild ocean, the snow-capped mountains, all the lakes and rivers, the nearly countless breweries and wineries, fun festivals, and even the high desert. If you're into big cities, Portland and Seattle are within driving distance. This is a video Travel Oregon came up with that I love: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=doVV1a7XgyQ
