Inexpensive wedding flowers - we only have 1 bride, 1 groom, 3 men

Laura, on September 5, 2020 at 4:28 PM Posted in Planning 0 12

It's just a party of 5 and I just don't want to break the bank. Any good online wedding flower sites? Help needed!

If you are interested in wood flowers, check out Southern Blooms online. Very affordable, beautiful, and it’s something you can keep forever. I was going to get all our bridal flowers from them but opted for real flowers instead.

If you're looking for fresh flowers I would check out a small local floral shop and see if they can work within your budget. Otherwise have you checked out any Etsy shops? I'm getting my flowers from a shop on Etsy called posies pearls. It's a mostly wooden (Sola) flowers and extremely reasonable.

I’m renting our minimony flowers from Something Borrowed Blooms. The bridal bouquets are a fraction of the price of florist, and bouts for the guys are $5. Good luck!

I bought my flowers online from Sola Wood flowers. I bought them on sale and ended up buying 2 different pre-dyed assortments (they have many colored varieties for any decor), and I bought 2 packs of each assortment giving 100 flowers and I can customize. You have to attach stems, I bought them from michaels and they cost about $2.50 for 12 stems per pack. You just need a glue gun to attach. I did 50 to start and it took me less than 30 minutes to assemble. I chose a blue theme. You can also keep them forever because they wont die. Drying flowers is ok but they can get messyInexpensive wedding flowers - we only have 1 bride, 1 groom, 3 men 1

If you want real flowers, I’d check with local florist to see if they are offering elopement packages. I picked a pretty elaborate bouquet, but for the bridal bouquet and groom’s boutonnière we are paying $300, and additional boutonnières would be $15/each. Our florist had elopements packages starting at $200 I believe for smaller/simple bouquets using in season flowers/greenery.

Florist know how to make this cheap / good. My florist would be able to do this for about $200 give or take for the whole wedding party if you kept it simple. This would be a simple rose bouquet and 4 rose boutonnieres. The boutonniere if done simply would be

Real wedding flowers get expensive on what you use. My gm boutonnieres were $13. My bouquet was on the complicated side with a handful of succulents and garden roses but it was $200 (if I went simpler $150 and nix'ed the succulents, garden roses and got a large standard traditional rose bouquet and she could go cheaper than $150 by using different flowers like a modern baby breath medium/large bouquet for $90). And my groom wanted a succulent boutonniere which was $28.

I recommend checking with your local florist. Talking with the professional can save you money. The diy option can actually cost more in some cases.

We used Budget Bride. They are a fake flowers, but the bouquets look real, and they are super affordable.

If you're okay with silk, check out Something Borrowed Blooms...that's our plan. It's rentals, but that's a bonus for me...no arranging, no dealing with storage, etc.

I just ordered 2 samples from Something Borrowed Blooms - I want to see what they look like and I need something borrowed. I'll be sure to keep everyone updated. I'm also an ethicist, so if I went real I'd donate them. But this way other brides can use them. So either is a great idea to me! I'll check local craft stores tomorrow. We have a few other things to nail down too. Tomorrow will be 21 days out. Smiley heart

We're ordering from Sam's Club! They have wedding packages, bulk flowers, and floral sets that might give you the options you need.
