Inexpensive or Returnable Bridal Hair Accessories

JuleeM, on May 26, 2015 at 5:51 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 9

I have my hair trial in a few weeks and I am not totally sure how I'll be styling it yet. I'm not wearing a veil. I know it will be down and pinned back somehow but not sure if it will be a side part, center part, etc. Therefore I don't want to buy an non-returnable, expensive hair accessory until I know what style I am going with. But it would also be helpful to have a few options to try to get a sense of how the style will look even if it isn't the final piece.

I'm thinking I should get a hair wrap/headband and a fancy comb. Does anyone know where I can get bridal style hair accessories that are either on the cheap side or where I can return the one that I don't want? I'd prefer somewhere I can go in person rather than an online store. Thanks!

I got my hair accessories at Charming Charlie for $12 - beats spending $275 on the one I loved at DB.

I went to Claire's. They have all their prom stuff and it was a 15$ headband that would have cost easily 50-100 at a wedding store

I got my hair accessories at Claire's too, $14 for little spiral pins and $12 for a bigger comb clip that matches the pins.

I got my headpiece from lightinthebox.com for $6. The quality ended up being nicer than I expected. I'm glad it was an area I could save money on and not have a negative impact on the day.

I was also going to recommend The Icing. They have a whole bridal section and it's super cheap. I bought some $6 earrings there to go wedding dress shopping so I could have and idea what it would look like.

Nordstrom has bridal hair accessories and they have a really flexible return policy.

I actually bought a beautiful hair comb off of Amazon for less than $20. The name of the seller is Ever Faith and they have several designs. They sell earrings as well (though I think I am getting mine from Charming Charlie's).

Some stores actually don't let you return hair accessories for health reasons. You can find some pretty but inexpensive accessories at target
