We're thinking about a weekend getaway for our honeymoon (getting married October 3, 2020, but we can wait until spring for the honeymoon if need be).
Amy suggestions for weekend trips that are less than 5 hours away from Frederick, MD?

What type of honeymoon are you hoping to have? Would you prefer to get pampered in a nice hotel, or would you prefer something like a secluded Airbnb where you can have some alone time?
Are you planning on driving, or are you open to flying?

I'd prefer to drive to avoid flight costs. We want something relaxing, maybe like a spa or something that has nice sightseeing. I want something to do other than be in a room for 3 days straight together. We'd probably go the following weekend after our wedding for about 3 days. We plan on having a bigger honeymoon later after we've saved up.

Either in nature or a small city would be fine. Just no big city feel. So definitely not Baltimore or anything like it.

Poconos, Massanutten, NYC, Atlantic city, ocean city, you can drive a little further and go to Niagara Falls. Tons a places nearby
