Inexpensive flowers

Victoria, on November 4, 2019 at 4:13 PM Posted in Style and Décor 0 19

Has anybody done their own flowers? And if so where did you get them and what did you do? I do think a bridal bouquet is good to get professionally, but otherwise I would love to save money and do it on my own! Thank you for your advice!

I purchased all of our flowers on Amazon. $170 for my bouquet, 4 bridesmaid bouquets, and roughly 20 total boutonnieres and corsages. I also bought individual flowers from Ling's Moment on Amazon for about $20 for 25 roses to use for decor and to add to my bouquet.

Honestly your local grocery store probably carries perfect flowers for bridesmaid bouquets for cheaper than anything else.

I helped with my FH Aunts flowers for her wedding. She ordered off a wholesale site and we did them. I think for 200 roses it was $100

My grandmother offered to do my flowers for me since she has arranged flower decorations as a side job for years. I live in a small town, so every town probably doesn't have a place like this, but we have a local flower shop that sells only artificial flowers. If you have a place like this nearby, you could probably ask them to work with you to buy some in bulk for a better price Smiley smile that's what we are going to do.

For my centerpieces and the bridesmaids bouquet I did artificial flowers from Michael's and doller tree. But for my bouquet I'm gonna go to a flower shop and get a arrangements but I will not mention wedding. Imma say it's for my house and go right on youtube and do it myself. I will not spend 100 or more on a bouquet noooo nooooo I'm thinking smart and cost effective.

My fresh flowers are coming from Kroger's floral department. FH and I have also ordered pre-made fresh centerpieces from FiftyFlowers, which I have seen nothing but good reviews for! Definitely worth looking into Smiley smile

My bouquet is professional, but bridesmaids bouquets were DIY with grocery store flowers. Spent $30 total for all 4 of them 😏🤩 Honestly if I had known how well they were going to turn out I would’ve DIYd my own too! I was just too nervous for that honestly which is why I had mine done by a florist :p

I got my bouquet professionally made, so it was very pricey. But I got the bridesmaids bouquet's and the groomsmen's boutonniere's at Hobby Lobby and made them myself. Every other week their flowers (and even pre made bouquets) are 50% off, so it was very inexpensive.

If you don't mind faux flowers, Wedding Flowers for Rent was a great option for me. I got my bouquet, my 2 bridesmaids' corsages, & my Man of Honor's boutonniere for ~$99. They also offer centerpieces & other decorations. They look great in pictures & even in person people thought they were real (until they touched them of course). Then when you're done, you ship them back.

Those flowers in the background aren't rented...they belonged to the venueInexpensive flowers 3

I am team artificial flowers! They look so real nowadays that no one notices and you don't spend an arm and a leg on them! Especially with Black Friday and Cyber Monday coming up, check out the craft stores, they will have amazing sales on flowers and greenery!

I do know that Sam's Club sells bulk loose real flowers for a good price, but the downside is that you can't get them until 2 days before your event and you have to arrange them yourself!
