😂 happened to me too!!!! it's so funny how confident they are too when they call prices like 9k for flowers. I had to ask her If the flowers were immortal.

You should look up Petals in Time here on WW. She's doing my flowers and her prices are amazing

Bloominous has some low cost options! It’s DIY but they give directions on how to care for and assemble them. Here’s a photo of a test bouquet I did.

I think that I'm going to order fake flowers from Amazon. I might do fake garlands for centerpieces too.

A friend of mine found dried flower bouquets/centerpieces on Etsy! I honestly don’t know the cost, but I do know she saved a ton of money and they were lovely!

We kept it to just wedding party flowers only to save money. Here in MD our florist charged $600 for my bouquet, 4 bridesmaids bouquets, 9 boutonnieres, 3 wrist corsages, and cake flowers. We saved $150 by picking them up ourselves. My florist also recommended using as many of the same flowers throughout the designs to save money. It was cheaper for her to buy in bulk then to have to split up orders based on my bouquet being different then the bridesmaids, etc....

I haven't placed a final order yet because they want me to place it 3 months in advance! But how it works at my Kroger is this Smiley smile

It's totally fine to bring pictures and show them what you'd like. They can show you flower options and discuss how they'll make each flower arrangement you want. You can call and order, but it's better to go up to the desk! This way you can actually see the flowers and options available!

I got my bouquet from a florist for $70, but my bridesmaids and I DIYd the bridesmaid bouquets... we got flowers from a grocery store for $30 total (plus $5 for ribbon to wrap them with) and that was the total cost for all 4 of their bouquets!

To add too, honestly I would’ve DIYd my own too if I would’ve known how well they were going to turn out haha, but I was a little anxious about them not turning out great which wasn’t a risk I was willing to take with my own bouquet, but I’m hindsight knowing how not-difficult it was to make them look lovely, it would’ve been fine haha

Flowers aren't the biggest priority for me, so I was completely comfortable getting fake flowers considering the prices I found from local florists. I bought all of mine off of Amazon, including my bouquet, 4 bridesmaid bouquets, and roughly 15 boutonnieres/corsages for $170. Might spend another $50-$100 on décor if I find some, otherwise I'll be taking a non-floral approach on that front.

If fake flowers just aren't something you feel comfortable doing, I highly suggest looking into either Costco or Sam's Club. Their packages aren't as customizable as an actual florist, but the prices are much more reasonable.

Our flowers would have been under $500 if I hadn’t been a nudge about *requiring* King Protea, out of season for my bouquet (I’m a pain, I know).

I attempted a practice DIY of bouquets and they’re kind of easy to mess up (all test this if you have seasonal allergies my hands swelled so much from handling roses, carnations, and baby’s breath that my husband had to pour lube on my ring to get it off).

I decided to leave it to the professionals. We opted for pick up which knocked $200 off our quote. We did non-traditional arrangements for the ‘maids and ‘men. We had simple succulent cuffs made for our readers. We also DIYed centerpieces ( mostly non floral) which helped.

My sister went to a vendor at the local farmer's market. Her bouquet, bridesmaids bouquets, and boutonnieres were only $150
