Inexpensive Bridesmaid Gifts??

Erin, on July 2, 2019 at 12:52 PM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 1 12

I want to thank all my ladies for supporting me on my big day, but can't afford much. What did you budget-savvy brides gift your bridal party?

I found good deals on Black Friday for my bridesmaids, so I'd wait for that. I got these cute totes with their names on them (or just flowers or whatever you want) for $5 per tote! Old Navy had a sale on flip flops & fuzzy socks too for $1 each. Macy's and Kohls has sales on jewelry often too.

I managed to spend under $20 by getting cute lil gifts from forever 21’s sales and a $5 candle! I also used target to get those cheap gift bags from the dollar section!

I did these bracelets for $4/piece with the box/card to gift my bridesmaids to ask them. They loved them. This shop has a lot of inexpensive stuff. I got them in silver with purple boxes.

I got wine tumblers with each bridesmaid's name on it as a "proposal" gift but I think they would make great day of gifts too. I did names only so they don't feel stuck with something with my wedding info or "bridesmaid" on it and can keep using it. I did them in purple (one of my wedding colors) with white writing, and got myself a white one with purple writing. They were about $12 each on Etsy and there are plenty of other cup/tumbler options than just the wine ones.

I got my ladies a pashmeena (Etsy for $4), large Yankee candle (but one get two sale), wedding survival kit ($4 on black Friday sales), and a mini forget-me-not pot ($1 at Target).
Honestly, the target deals are the best. I put each of those items in a decorative box from Michael's ($2 each). It ended up being about $21 per girl, but that was spend over 3-5 months.

I managed to get a lot of their gifts during sales, especially during the holidays. It doesn't have to be much, shop as it it's their birthday. Don't forget to include a sweet note. Smiley laugh

I'm doing personalized tumblers, make up bag, hair ties (all from Etsy), face mask and EOS chapstick. I'll put all of that in a cute box / bag (undecided at the moment) and it all is for less than $30 per girl.
