Hey guys! Anyone else have an industrial piercing? What are your plans for the day of? I’ve always just worn a black barbell which is fairly low key- most people don’t realize I have one at first- but I’m not sure it will look right when I’m otherwise in wedding finery. Are there elegant barbells out there? Help!

I don't have one and I had to look up what it is, but honestly if it's part of you then I wouldn't necessarily remove it for the occasion. If you wanted something nicer than just the black barbell though I did a quick google search (I was curious!) and found some alternatives depending on your style.

Tiny hoop and chain
As long as you're happy with how it looks, I think you're good

I have 10 ear piercings and am leaving all my bars in hah. The only earrings I’m changing out my first holes and do some “fancy” dangling ones. I think if they’re a part of you, you should keep the bar!

Oh man I always wanted more piercings but had to park it where I’m at due to work! I’ll probably end up keeping the bar, or maybe doing two little huggie hoops. Thanks for the help- it’s so easy to overthink things so the ‘it’s part of you’ perspective is great to hear.
