What kind of fireworks can be done indoors? That sounds dangerous

I've never even heard of indoor fireworks?
I imagine you'd have a hard time getting a venue to agree to that too.

They do exist (theatre technician here, I’ve fired stage fireworks before). However, you’re going to need to see if your venue will allow it, if you can safely let them off in the space (ceiling height is a big one, and they will need an exclusion zone around them where no-one can be when they’re fired), you may need a fire safety marshal present, and you’ll definitely need someone qualified to fire them. It is absolutely not something to be messed with - just look up The Station fire where they didn’t take the proper precautions and it ended tragically. I’d approach a professional firework company in your area, or a theatrical supplier who can point you in the right direction. It won’t be cheap though.

One of the DJ companies we looked into offered this. But less "fireworks" and more "massive sparklers" if that makes sense. We didn't go with them, but I think they were charging something like $400.

I've never heard of this. Sounds dangerous but super cool / exciting, lol. As PPs stated, I'd definitely check with your venue's policies first. However, I can't imagine this would be cheap, BUT I bet it sure would be memorable!

I think you’re referring to “pyrotechnics.” I’m actually having this at my wedding. It’s a box that will display something that looks like fireworks. I am having 4 of them, two on each side of my entrance, then they will move it toward my first dance, then my the cake display when we cut the cake. These are beautiful and make for an extravagant effect. It’s a box and it’s electric. The company who provides you with it must have insurance in order to use it at most venues.

I am paying $250.00 for each box and I am getting 4. They charge $250 each, for each time it goes off but you can usually negotiate.

You definitely need to check with your venue. Most venues don't allow things like this for liability reasons.
