Indochino

Sara, on May 6, 2019 at 2:02 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 7
Has anyone used Indochino for the grooms suit? We went this weekend to the showroom, and everything went great with the salesperson. Now, reading some online reviews I am seeing that people have received horrible fitting suits, that need to be remade 2-3 times. Our wedding still isn't for several months, but this seems unnecessary and super stressful to go through when it is supposedly made to fit your measurements. On the other hand, I've read some really great reviews so now I don't know what to think!

FH, his groomsmen, and the dads all got custom suits from Indochino. They had great experiences! The suits were shipped to everyone's house and none of the 5 of them had to go back for any alterations. FH ended up ordering more suits (for work) since they fit so well.

SIL got his suit through them. It arrived exactly when they said it would (I think about a month?). He went for the complementary fitting because it needed some tweaking. The tailor at the store decided they should reorder the jacket so it would be perfect. The replacement arrived in a couple weeks, and it was great. (FYI SIL is a little hard to fit because he lifts weights so his upper arms and thighs are proportionally much bigger than his torso. In an off-the-rack suit, he'd have to buy a suit that is much too big and then have it extensively tailored, so a custom suit completely made sense. I think his custom suit cost just about the same as FOB's higher-end Ralph Lauren suit we bought at Macy's -- on sale -- so price-wise, Indochino seemed like a good value.)

Thank you! Did you use the Newport Beach location? (I'm just assuming since you have So Cal in your screen name Smiley smile)

Yes! The store at Fashion Island. I went with daughter and SIL for the first appointment (would definitely recommend an appointment), but did not go with them for the fitting appointment. Good luck!

Our groomsmen and fathers ordered made-to-order through Indochino. The all looked great!! In fact, my husband’s best man then wanted to use the same suits in his wedding, so while my husband wore something else (tux) to our wedding he ordered and wore the made-to-order Indochino suit to the next wedding. I think it comes down to getting your measurements right. The show rooms are great, so if you have one near by do take advantage of that and schedule a measurement/fitting appointment.

    Hi,

We did get the suit from Indochino and it arrived in the mail. There were some fit issues, so my fiance went in and they did all the pinning for the adjustments they do in house for free. However, this was about 5 weeks ago, and when I called yesterday they said they are just now starting on his suit, and it will still be a few days. So, hopefully everything is fixed- but if you do go with this company make sure you have ample time since the process is incredibly slow!
