Indecisive bride

Wedding planning is giving me a huge headache!! I am the most indecisive person ever. I like so many different styles and themes and dress shapes and flowers and hair styles and veils. When I finally decide on an item and purchase it, I start thinking maybe I should have gotten the other option I was considering. Like my veil, I got a 1 tier cathedral but now I’m thinking I wish I had a blusher! My dress is intricate and A-line, now I wish I had a plunging neckline boho fit and flare. Got a small tiara, now want just a little hair comb. Gah! What is wrong with me?!? I’m DIYing mostly everything myself. Working on my bouquet, I wrapped the handle with black satin ribbon, now I want ivory. Sorry, just had to vent....

Oh and I dropped my dress off yesterday for alterations and after seeing the other dresses in the store and seeing other brides trying on dresses, I feel like my dress is “so last season”! Not that it should matter, because the current stock of dresses will be last season someday and it’s not really about what the trends are, it’s about what you like. Maybe I’ll get a fit n flare reception dress lol.

It’s really easy to be indecisive when there’s so much pressure on one day! Try to think of these doubting thoughts as an annoying backseat driver... just push it out of your head. You made these decisions for a reason, so just stick to them or you’re going to end up planning 5 weddings hahaha. At the end of the day it won’t matter how long your veil was or what type of flowers you held!

Yes! I feel like what I want is so diverse that I’ll be planning multiple different weddings. But you are right, once a decision is made, that’s it, no more rethinking.

I’m a bit of a hypocrite because I did this a TON too hahaha. But after the wedding is over looking back on it, it all seems so silly lol. These decisions you agonize over really don’t matter in the end let yourself relax and feel confident that your day will be beautiful with the decisions you’ve made!

I feel this to my core 😂 my plan is to make my decisions on wine night, that's when I'm most judgmental and find I make my mind up pretty quick 😂 good luck!! There is nothing wrong with mixing different styles to make it your own!

Oh good I'm not alone. I'm indecisive about the style of my dress. I haven't even started trying them on. I keep seeing ones I like but not the length I want. I can't decide between a white dress or a colored dress (2nd wedding).
