Including Return Address for Online Rsvp?

Brianna, on February 8, 2018 at 12:07 AM Posted in Planning 0 8
We decided to only have online RSVPs. I think we should include return address, but my fiancé thinks it’s pointless. Did anyone else run into this?

I wrote mine anyway. Ppl may think it's junk mail if they don't see names

Do you mean a return address on the invitation envelope? That should always be done incase someone moves or the postage is wrong. Or did you mean somewhere online so guest know where to send cards or something?

Yes on the invitation envelope. The website has the "contact me" section if the have questions or most of them have my number

I would in case you have the wrong address so they can be returned. Not to sound selfish but also if people can’t attend and want to send a gift or a card with well wishes they probably won’t want to ask you for your address

You always return address envelopes. If you don't feel like writing them out you can get stickers or a stamp made really cheaply, but you always always put your address on them.

USPS will often not send envelops without return addresses. Its supposed to be on every piece of mail. Even if they get mailed without one, you'd have no way of knowing if an invitation cannot be delivered (someone moved, envelope gets damaged, etc.).

I would definitely suggest having your return address on the envelope. You can find a lot of cute stamps or print them on labels if you don't want to write them out. I did a custom template on Word for my STDs and printed them directly on the envelopes at home.

My local post office will not accept a letter if there isn't a return address on it. Better to add it and be safe than sorry!
