Including fmil

How do i make her happy from a distance? I don't really want to involve her any more but to keep the peace i will.
Any one have any ideas?

Back story/Long story: Well my FMIL has been complaining to my fiance about how she is not involved in wedding planning. She decided to throw me a bridal shower. I wasn't interested in having one but she insisted so i said ok. Well my FSIL and FMIL decided to do it together but there has been fighting between the two and i choose to not get involved. Well FSIL has done most of the planning and work and FMIL feels robbed of it. I dont care to get involved in the drama so i dont. Well FSIL has been awesome to me through all if this while FMIL has caused nothing but grief. She is nasty and snippy like its my fault.
She offered to do favors for the wedding and i said ok. She keeps buying random things i don't like and i say ok we will use it. When she does ask my opinion to go buy stuff she gets mad if i don't like it or don't want it. So she buys it anyway. I had her at my dress try on and she was saying things about my fiances ex girlfriend and my fiances past that were very upsetting to me and i can't stand to talk to her now. I know his past pretty well but while i am buying my wedding dress is really not the time to bring it up.

Ugh. She should have been happy with the shower, favors & dress shopping. I think you’ve done enough. But if you want, what about doing the cake tasting with her and let her pick the 3rd flavor (you pick one, your fiancé picks one, she gets one)?

Oh wait! Did she get her dress yet? You could go shopping with her?

Ugh. Maybe go shopping with her for her jewelry if she wants? Smiley atonished

We only had a one-tier cake because the venue provided dessert shots so my hubby & I worked together to choose one flavor combo. We would have loved a three-tier cake. But even if you do a one-tier cake and sheet cakes to save money, giving her one of three flavor combos might be nice and a fun outing for her/all three of you. She really can't complain after that.

Only if you really need to keep her busy, can she make a guestbook album for guests to sign at the reception on Shutterfly or someplace online? You could email her your favorite photos of you & your partner and let her make one.
