Including FH daughter (flower girl) at courthouse ceremony

So we are a day away and last night I realized that our "flower girl" really won't have much to do. We are getting married at the courthouse, so we aren't doing the walk down the aisle. She will have her own little bouquet, but that's really her only special duty. Would it be weird to have her stand up with us during the ceremony? I just wasn't sure how this would work. Would she stand beside one of us or in the middle? I just wanted to include her a little more than just having a bouquet. She is so excited about being the flower girl. Thanks everyone!

We do a lot of elopements with just the couple and their witnesses and sometimes their children. She could stand with you and have a little bouquet (I'm loving those flower balls, and I see them a lot for little girls. Maybe she could sprinkle some petals when you leave, to celebrate?

Thanks. I'm thinking maybe having her stand with me would be nice. I'm not sure if they want you throwing the petals inside, but we could always do it outside.

I plan on saying some short "vows" to my future stepdaughters. I haven't figured out what I'm going to say, but I want them to understand how much their dad and I love them and that I'm so excited to be a part of their family.

It's a bit different for us, because I have been in her life as long as she even can remember. Since she was 1 and she is 6 now. I feel like vows to her wouldnt have the same effect because she really doesn't know anything other than having me in her life. I did get her a necklace with 3 hearts to symbolize the three of us officially becoming a family.
