In memory of.... photos

Megan, on August 4, 2019 at 10:35 AM Posted in Style and Décor 0 10
There have been a few family members from my side that have passed and I want to honor them at the wedding. Both sets of grandparents are gone and I was wondering if the picture on the “in memory of” table could be them together (grandparents #1 and grandparents #2) or if it should be one photo of each person separately. The table will also include my uncle and FH grandpa.

Thanks for the help.

You can do whatever you’d like, there’s really no etiquette here.

You can do however you want! If you have space and have a favorite pictures of them as individuals then you can do that. Or if there are cute couple photos, you could do that too! There's really no right or wrong way.

I think if you have a favorite picture of them together use it! They definitely don’t have to be individual pictures.

I thought about doing this, but opted for a prayer during the ceremony instead. Both my FH and I have family members that have passed that didn't leave the greatest of legacies and didn't want to put their picture out.

You can definitely put a picture of them together. I am doing that with my grandparents photos.

We’re doing the same thing. But with a twist. Before they take their seat they will light a candle. I’m having my step-grand mother light my grandfather’s candle. My mother will light her mothers candle. His sister will light they’re grandparents candles. His mother will light her husband’s candle.
