In love with this dress, too much cleavage?

Sarah, on September 28, 2018 at 10:46 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 26

Hi all! I am absolutely in love with this dress, how it flows, how I feel, etc. However, after showing a couple of other people, they pointed out how it's slightly boobalicious, something I didn't really notice because I was so concerned about other areas of my body that I am self-conscious of. Also, this is a sample size, so I figured it could be adjusted to cover me up a little bit more. Any advice is greatly appreciated!

Here's the dress, I'm sorry for the coloring, someone else took the photo and sent it to me after editing itIn love with this dress, too much cleavage? 1

I don’t think it is too much cleavage. I think it is an acceptable and “tasteful” amount. But, what matters is that you are comfortable- a good seamstress can raise the neckline so there is less cleavage if you choose Smiley smile it looks beautiful on you!

I completely feel that this is 100% a personal choice thing. You look amazing in the dress! If you feel comfortable as is, don't change anything. If you're concerned maybe see about adding a little lace or something.

It looks beautiful but a proper fit dress and some cups will totally improve the situation and lift the girls up.

I thin a small panel would be perfect. It’s a gorgeous dress!

I think it's a beautiful dress! I'm a little modest, so I do think it shows a bit more than I personally would be comfortable showing, but I certainly don't think it's tasteless or tacky or too sexy. If it makes you a bit uncomfortable you can always have your seamstress sew in a little panel that can be sheer or that matches the detail of your dress to provide a little bit more coverage.

    A) I think it's fine

    B) I think you nailed it -- this is a sample, so if this dress was too large for you -- the space in front will be larger, and then when clipped in back will be more open than a dress that is the proper size.

It's gorgeous and you look so happy in it.

I do not think it is too much. But if you are concerned you could always have them sew in some sheer fabric to close it up a bit.
