I'm worried I made a mistake with my dress

Beautiful dress...love the detail on the top. Forget everyone else...how do YOU feel in it?

Thank you- I loved it so much when I first put it on but I think all the negativity is lodged into my head now. I work at the bridal salon that I got it at and it's come in but I'm terrified to put it on because I'm worried I will be too hard on myself

The dress is beautiful! At the end of the day it is your wedding. If you love it, your smile and glow will make the dress even more beautiful.

I had the same thing happen with mine. Bought a dress and loved it so much, mom loved it too.. then the more I tried it on I hated it. I found a dress I couldn't stop trying on but my friends hated but I feel beautiful. The day is about YOU and how you feel in it. If you love it then wear it! If you don't then I'd keep searching.. coming from personal experience I am happy with my decision. It's one day you'll remember for the rest of your life

You're wearing it not them. So go with whichever one you liked best.

While the dress isn't a style that would suit me, I think it is a very nice dress, and it's beautiful on you. This is why only my MOH is seeing my dress before the big day. Other VIPs, like my mom and FMIL, got to give their input in different dress designs but don't know which I chose. Also, what's so bad about looking talented and graceful? Are you sure it was meant as a complaint?

Nikki- she followed with saying that she did not like it at all so I know it wasn't supposed to be a compliment. I wish I wouldn't have shown anyone but maybe my mom haha. I so wholeheartedly love your honest feedback as well

People who say those things have their own crap going on and it is unfortunate that they are letting it come out as an attack on you. Ignore it - and rock that dress.

My mom hated my dress so I bought another one. I went back to my original because it's where my heart is. Now I have 2 expensive dresses and one I'm having trouble selling even at a heavy discount. Don't make my mistake - go with your gut!
