Im supposed to be getting married tomorrow :(

BTW- I am still dreading having to do all the STDs and Invites again. I know I will be doing the postponement letter soon (thanx for the advice Centerpiece ), but still. It feels very weird to go through that motion again. Has anyone literally called off or postponed their wedding as close as I did (2 weeks before)?

BUMP- sorry I need someone to talk to before I go mad! Okay, maybe not mad, but even more depressed.

@LadyCrystal- yeah there isn't much to say. Lol. Im just being a cry baby. I actually woke up in a bad mood! And we passed the exit on the freeway today... Ughhh. Sucks.

It's will be okay. I know how you feel we had to postpone at the last minute in April and moved it to October but had to change that. So we put a page on our wedding website about the date change for people that know about the change but not all of the reason.

My question is, you said you were sending out he postponement letter soon, did you tell any of your guests you did this????

@Mrscounrtylace- oh that is another good idea. Hmmmm. I think I should steal your idea. How are you going to go about sending out STDs and Invites when the time comes? I feel like I have to put.. "Once again Felicia and Victor" are getting married! Lol.

@HalloweenBride- Yeah, we told everyone our date was postponed (we had to- that would have been horrible having people show up to the venue). I think FH said cancelled (he thinks its the same thing, men!). So, I want to clarify that it will still happen and also apologize for any inconveniences.

Im telling you, I feel soooo dumb. I never thought it would have came down to this

@GypsyBride- Thanks Thats what I keep telling myself! I think what is bothering me the most is 1)I have to wait even longer to marry my love 2)Resending invites. I know I keep saying this but that is a huge thing for me.

Aww you may not be getting married tomorrow but look at it this way you have more time to plan and add ideas . Do you have anything planned tomorrow to try to help you not think about it too much?

@FinallyDoingIt- I didn't think I was going to be this bummed, since it will eventually happen. I think it's all the excitement that was built up in the last month (all the details were officially planned) just came tumbling down on me.

@SM2013- That is true. I feel like at the time I wouldn't change a thing-just due to the fact that I loved every last detail (my wedding planner did such an amazing job with everything down to my linens) of our wedding. It was going to be gorgeous. But who knows, maybe in the next year my style will change a bit Ummm plans... besides school, I was planning on taking the day off, but there's no need. I think I'm going to get a mani/pedi as well & possibly have a night out on the town.

It's funny, I am not even watching anything wedding related anymore. This is the first time I even came on here in about a week. I am having wedding envy! Lol. So happy for you ladies though! Once a new date is confirmed, Im sure Ill start getting excited

I knew it was tomorrow. I saw you post on another thread and thought about your decision to postpone. I had a feeling you'd be a little sad.

Just remember, time goes by quickly -- not in terms of hours, but in terms of months. I can easily remember many details of a wedding I went to a year ago, and I can promise you, it doesn't feel like a year has passed. Over the coming weekend, remind yourself that had you not postponed, your wedding would be in the past. You still have a magical day to look forward to. When you're in your gown and ready to proceed with your wedding, you'll be thrilled that it's happening when it's happening.

Thanks The Centerpiece I know time does fly, but like you said it's sometimes the hours that drag.

I must have missed the thread in which you mentioned that you were post-poning - I'm really sorry and I just hope you will feel even more excited when the new time comes!
